I am on maternity leave, so I am not currently accepting new clients. If you are a returning client, please contact our Intake Advisors, Alana and Victoria. They will make sure that you can get the support that you need.

Talking about painful situations or intense emotions is not easy. You might feel overwhelmed, confused, or unsure where to start. In our work together, my aim is to create a safe, calm space where you can bring your real feelings, without pressure to “have it all together.” We’ll move at a pace that feels manageable, and I’ll be right there with you as we sort things through.

I believe that trying to push emotions away usually doesn’t work for very long. Real healing often comes from gently noticing, naming, and processing what we feel. That’s why I often use an Emotion-Focused approach. Together, we’ll explore where your feelings come from, what they might be telling you, and what to do with them in a way that fits your life.

I support people who are dealing with depression, anxiety, anger, grief or loss, and trauma. I also work with self-esteem concerns and relationship difficulties. Along the way, I might borrow tools from Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution Focused Therapy (SFT), and mindfulness. In simple terms, that means we’ll look at your thoughts, feelings, and actions, build coping skills, and stay present with what matters most to you.

In our first session, I’ll want to get to know you as a person—what you value, what brings you to therapy, and how you’d like us to work together. Some people prefer structure and clear steps, including homework between sessions. Others like to “go with the flow” and bring whatever feels most important that week. I’m flexible and comfortable with both styles. Most sessions, we’ll start with a brief check-in about how therapy feels, what’s helpful, and what we might adjust, so you don’t have to wonder if it’s working.

I completed my Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University, and I’ve had the chance to work with many different people and stories. Outside of sessions, I love caring for others in simple ways—cooking, baking, and spending time with my family. I enjoy going on walks with my husband and getting wrapped up in a good story, whether that’s a book, a video game, or a movie. My child now is also a precious part of my life.

If you feel we might be a good fit, I’d be glad to support you as you get to know your emotions, understand yourself more deeply, and move toward a life that feels more peaceful and satisfying.
