  • As your therapist, it would be my honor and privilege to connect with you surrounding your story and your needs. I see my role as a gentle listener, aiming to support and challenge you in ways that feel right for you. I believe that connections can heal, and I hope to provide a safe space for you to explore, uncover and rediscover yourself.
  • My style has been described as warm, supportive, gentle, compassionate, and playful. I see my clients as the experts on their stories and I aim to use a collaborative approach to help ensure that they are getting exactly what they want out of their sessions.
  • I have experience working with people who were facing a variety of challenges, including anxiety, depression, substance abuse, work-life imbalances, life transition challenges, stress, academic performance issues, relationship problems, coping skills, grief and loss, difficulties with emotions, childhood trauma, exploring identity (racial/cultural/sexual) & women’s issues.
  • I aim to use integrative psychotherapy that pulls useful strategies and techniques from multiple lenses to support our work. Some of the approaches I draw on include Mindfulness, Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Emotion-Focused, Humanistic, Relational, Person-Centered and Existential Therapies.
