Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville

My goal is to meet my clients where they are at, and offer them non-judgmental listening rooted in warmth, empathy, compassion, and respect. I aim to cultivate a strong working relationship with each of you – this relationship is vital to achieving meaningful, lasting change. I want you all to know you are being heard, supported, and respected throughout your therapeutic journey.

My approach to individual counselling integrates elements from several treatment approaches including Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Client Centered Therapy, and Mindfulness. This allows me to tailor treatment to meet your unique needs. It utilizes the modalities and techniques best suited to your individual preferences.

I have wide experience in the field of grief and bereavement. As a therapist, I can help you navigate the grieving process by providing you with a safe space to express your feelings, to build new relationships and develop a sense of self after your loss. Together, we can ensure that you will continue to live life in a meaningful and fulfilled way.

Additionally, I have a special interest in working with individuals who have experienced perinatal and/or antenatal loss, those affected by infertility and individuals struggling with intimate relationship issues.

I can also help with a variety of issues including anxiety, chronic stress, depression, trauma/PTSD, addiction, relationship struggles, interpersonal struggles, life transitions and parenting.

I look forward to meeting you and working together.
