Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with a Master of Education in Counselling Psychology, University of Toronto

Being stuck in anxiety, OCD, or perfectionism can feel exhausting. Your mind never stops, but nothing changes. You don’t have to stay in that loop alone. Together, we can slow things down, understand what’s happening, and choose small, realistic steps forward.

I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with a Master of Education in Counselling Psychology from the University of Toronto. I have a special interest in supporting people who are living with anxiety, OCD, and perfectionism. I also work with people who are exploring who they are and where they fit, especially when culture, gender, and relationships all intersect.

As a Mandarin-speaking East Asian therapist, I understand what it’s like to move between cultures, juggle family expectations, and wonder where you belong. If you think deeply but feel emotionally stuck, we can work together to move from insight into real, practical change.

Therapy with me is collaborative and flexible. I won’t try to squeeze you into a rigid model. We’ll get clear on what matters most to you, then shape our work around your goals and pace. You’ll also fill out a very short check-in each session so we can see how you’re doing and keep your therapy on track.

In our sessions, we might look at how your thoughts and behaviours keep anxiety or OCD going, and gently practice doing things differently. For OCD, this can include exposure and response prevention (ERP), a well-tested way of facing fears step by step, always at a pace that feels respectful and safe. We may explore your emotions in a structured way so they feel less overwhelming and more like a source of information. Mindfulness can help you be kinder to yourself and more present. At times, we might also look at how past relationships still affect you now, so you have more freedom in how you respond.

Most of all, I want you to feel safe, respected, and understood. Whatever you’re carrying, we can look at it together, at a pace that feels manageable.
