Reaching out for therapy can feel like a big step. You may not know where to begin. You may not even have the right words yet. That is okay. Together, we can slow things down and create a space where you feel safe, understood, and less alone.
My approach is warm, flexible, and collaborative. In our sessions, we will make room for all the parts of who you are. We will talk about what matters to you, what has been hard, and what you would like to feel more of in your life. Step by step, we will work toward more ease, confidence, and connection.
I have a special interest in working with people who are exploring identity, self-worth, relationships, and life changes. Many of the clients I support are queer, gender-diverse, neurodivergent, or trying to understand themselves in a new way. As a proud member of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community, I know how important it is to feel accepted without having to explain or defend who you are.
Therapy with me is not one-size-fits-all. Some people want clear tools and structure. Others need space to talk, reflect, and make meaning of their experiences. We will find what works best for you. We may explore the stories you carry about yourself. We may work with emotions that feel confusing or heavy. We may also build practical skills to help you manage stress, communicate more clearly, and move through difficult moments with more steadiness.
Clients have described my style as warm, genuine, validating, and playful. I believe therapy can be honest and meaningful without feeling cold or formal. Humour, curiosity, and gentle challenge can all be part of the work when they feel right for you.
In our first session, we will begin by getting to know your world. We may talk about the people who matter to you, how you spend your days, what brings you joy, and what you hope will change. From there, we will set goals together and check in regularly about what is helping. Your time, energy, and trust matter to me.
Outside of therapy, I enjoy gardening, reading, crafts, birdwatching, live music, and trying new restaurants. I also love spending time with my partner and our four cats: Soup, Salad, Sandwich, and Porter.
You do not have to carry everything on your own. Whatever brings you here, we can look at it together. My hope is that therapy helps you feel more grounded, more connected, and more able to live as your full self.
