I believe that, in the face of life’s challenges, there exist inherent opportunities for learning, healing, and fulfillment. As your therapist my aim is to assist you in realizing these opportunities. I am dedicated to creating a safe, compassionate, and supportive space where you can explore thoughts, emotions, and issues of concern to create personal meaning in your life.

My therapeutic approach draws from a range of therapeutic approaches including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Mindfulness and trauma-informed care. I take a client-centered approach and aim to tailor therapy sessions to meet the unique needs of the individual. I believe in the power of a collaborative and non-judgmental therapeutic relationship to facilitate personal growth and positive change.

I can assist clients with a variety of issues, including anxiety, depression, chronic stress, trauma recovery, relationship difficulties, grief, loss, isolation, identity concerns, self-esteem, and life transitions. I draw from evidence-based practice to guide clients toward their goals and offer psychoeducation to empower individuals in developing effective coping strategies for a greater sense of self-awareness and well-being.

Personally, I have practiced mindfulness meditation for 20 years and trained as a meditation instructor, and I incorporate this experience into my work with clients. I also have a long history of working with diverse clients, including working professionals, newcomers, refugees, 2SLGBTQ+ and BIPOC communities. Being from a diverse background myself, I am interested in issues of identity and empowerment (racial/cultural/sexual) and use an anti-oppressive approach to guide my practice. Additionally, I am a lifelong artist and abstract painter.

If you feel we would be a good fit, I look forward to meeting you and working together.
