Reaching out for therapy can often be an intimidating endeavour. It can also be the first step towards achieving meaningful change and living a life more aligned with your values and authentic self. As your therapist, I will create a safe, non-judgmental, and compassionate space where your story can be heard.

I will listen to you with warmth and a desire to understand so that together we can begin to untangle the pieces of your life that have become stuck.

Whether you are dealing with the effects of overwhelming stress and anxiety, feelings of sadness or loss of motivation, low self-worth, difficult emotions such as guilt and shame, substance use, the loss of a loved one, relationship difficulties, or perhaps just not feeling like yourself – you are not alone. Whatever it is, I will sit with you and work together to cultivate new insights and find effective ways of coping that allow you to move forward in a way that feels right for you.

I believe that therapy is not a one-size fits all solution, so I will work to mold my approach to what you find works best. My style has been described as warm, supportive, client-centered, trauma-informed, and strengths-based. Some of the approaches I incorporate into sessions include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, Solution Focused Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing.

I look forward to meeting you.
