Regain control of your use of alcohol
If you think that it is time for you to make a change we are here to help you. Most people whose drinking has gotten out of control can learn to regain control so that they can drink socially and responsibly. Other people are more likely to maintain control if they stopped drinking altogether. So, whether your personal goal is abstinence or controlled drinking we have therapists who know how to help. If your drinking has been so excessive that you require a detox program we can work with your physician to make sure that you get the help you need for the first stage of your recovery.
Our therapists use a combination of cognitive behaviour therapy techniques and mindfulness techniques. This combination can be very effective for helping you to regain control of your use of alcohol. When you regain control of drinking, you may notice feelings that had been put away like nervousness, shame, or sadness. Our therapists can also help you heal from these problems.
