Meet Our Nurse Wellness Therapists

Not every therapist understands what it’s like to work in a hospital. The therapists in the Nurse Wellness Program do — registered psychotherapists and social workers offering counselling and therapy for nurses across Ontario. Each of them has a meaningful personal connection to nursing and healthcare, works in a trauma-informed way, and has dedicated a significant part of their clinical career to supporting people in helping professions.

The program operates under the clinical supervision of Dr. Paul Kelly, registered Psychologist and Founder of The Mindfulness Clinic. All sessions are virtual and scheduled with shift workers in mind.

Robbi Collings
, M.Ed, RP
Registered Psychotherapist | Nurse Wellness Program
Healthcare has been part of Robbi’s personal life for as long as she can remember. Her brother is a Nurse Practitioner, she has been a hospital patient herself, and she has watched a family member be sustained over decades by nursing care. She brings all of that into the room.
Amanda Hollahan
, MSW, RSW
Registered Social Worker | Nurse Wellness Program
Amanda grew up with a retired nurse for a mother. From an early age she understood what it really costs to give yourself to a job built around caring for others. That understanding has shaped both who she is and how she works.
Maurissa Hastings
, MSW, RSW
Registered Social Worker | Nurse Wellness Program
When her daughter was born prematurely, Maurissa’s family was carried through one of the most frightening experiences of their lives by nurses whose care made all the difference. That experience is part of why working with nurses feels personal to her, not just professional.
Dr. Paul Kelly
, C.Psych
Founder and Clinical Director, Nurse Wellness Program | Registered Psychologist
Dr. Kelly started the Nurse Wellness Program because of nurses. NICU nurses were there when he was born premature. Pediatric nurses cared for him through a summer in hospital after a childhood accident. Critical care nurses helped him through a heart attack. His connection to this work is personal, and the program he built reflects that.
