Starting therapy can feel like a big step. You may be looking for clarity, relief, or a place where you do not have to figure everything out alone. Together, we can slow things down and make sense of what is happening in your mind, body, and daily life.

My style is warm, curious, and collaborative. I like to bring openness, humour, and creativity into therapy when it feels right. Some sessions may be practical and focused. Others may be more open and exploratory. We will shape our work around what helps you feel engaged, understood, and supported.

I have a special interest in working with people who are navigating anxiety, OCD, ADHD, identity, relationships, and emotional overwhelm. Many of the clients I work with are curious about themselves. They want to understand their patterns, build new skills, and feel more connected to who they are. If your mind moves quickly, jumps between ideas, or feels hard to settle, we can work with that. We do not have to force your thoughts into a straight line.

In our sessions, we may use mindfulness to help you slow down and notice what is happening in the moment. We may look at how your thoughts, emotions, body sensations, and actions connect. We may also use structured tools, whiteboards, or small between-session experiments to see what helps. If one strategy does not work, we will treat that as useful information. It does not mean you failed. It just means we learned something together.

For clients living with OCD or anxiety, we can work step by step to understand the loops that keep fear going. When appropriate, we may use exposure and response prevention, or ERP, to help you face anxiety in a planned and supported way. We will move carefully. The goal is not to overwhelm you. The goal is to help your brain and body learn that you can handle more than anxiety tells you.

I also enjoy working with clients who are exploring culture, identity, sexuality, and belonging. I am Latino and from Argentina, and I understand how culture can shape the way we see ourselves, our families, and the world around us. I often work with LGBTQ+ clients, including gay men, and I aim to create a space where you can speak honestly about who you are. I provide therapy in English and I also fluently understand Spanish.

My background includes a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology as well as studies in psychology and neuroscience. I have always been interested in the brain and how it shapes our thoughts, feelings, and behaviour. In therapy, this can help us understand your experience with less judgment. There may be a reason your mind works the way it does. Once we understand it better, we can work with it more kindly.

Outside of therapy, I love music. I play guitar and piano, and I enjoy making music with others. I also like reading history, playing video games, and spending time with friends and my partner. Creativity is an important part of my life, and I welcome it in therapy too. If art, music, games, stories, or a special interest helps you express yourself, we can make room for that.

My hope is that therapy with me feels like a real conversation. We will set goals together. We will check in about what is working. We will try new tools and adjust when needed. You do not have to have everything perfectly organized before you begin. We can start with what is here now and build from there, one step at a time.
