Starting therapy can feel vulnerable. You may be hoping to feel more understood, more steady, or more like yourself again. We can begin there. Together, we will create a space where you do not have to mask, perform, or have everything figured out before you arrive.

My style is warm, flexible, and down-to-earth. I do not believe therapy should feel cold or one-size-fits-all. When we meet, we will take time to understand what feels most helpful for you. Some sessions may include clear tools and practical strategies. Some may give you space to talk, reflect, and make sense of what you have been carrying.

I have a special interest in supporting people who are neurodivergent, including people with ADHD or autism. I also support people who love or care for someone who is neurodivergent. My own lived experience helps me bring patience, creativity, and respect into this work. We can look at what supports your brain, your body, and your life instead of trying to force you into a system that does not fit.

I also enjoy working with people who are exploring self-esteem, identity, advocacy, relationships, and what it means to live more authentically. If you are part of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community, my hope is that you feel safe, respected, and accepted in our work together. We can make room for all parts of who you are.

In our sessions, we may look at how your thoughts, feelings, body, and actions connect. We may build tools for anxiety, stress, emotional intensity, or relationship patterns. We may explore the stories you carry about yourself and gently ask whether those stories still fit. We may also use mindfulness, grounding, movement, or creative strategies to help you feel more present and supported in daily life.

My approach draws from cognitive behavioural therapy, dialectical behaviour therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, narrative therapy, somatic tools, solution-focused therapy, and other approaches. In plain language, this means we will use what works. I know how to do a variety of things. Together, we will figure out what is right for you.

Before becoming a therapist, I worked in many different settings. I have been a flight attendant, a bartender, and worked in pharmacies and factories. I have also worked in shelters, private practice, community programs, and non-profit services. These experiences helped me understand people from many walks of life. They also deepened my belief that people are resilient, even when life has been painful or unstable.

Outside of therapy, I love spending time with my cat, Kramer, and my dog, Bilbo. I enjoy hiking, running, travelling, fashion, and creating things in different ways. I also love spending time with my nieces and nephews. Connection, movement, nature, and self-expression are important parts of my own wellbeing.

You do not have to do this alone. Whatever brings you here, we can take it one step at a time. My hope is that therapy helps you feel more grounded, more accepted, and more able to build a life that feels like your own.
